SCR™'s estrus detection technology monitors individual cows' activity levels and activity intensity 24 hours a day. Activity is monitored in two-hour blocks, providing highly detailed information on the cow's activity levels.
Each time the cow passes under a transceiver ID unit the data is transmitted from the tag to the ID transceiver using reliable infrared communication.
Activity data is then analyzed by the terminal using proprietary algorithms which separates cow's day to day activity from estrus related activities.
