Jerry Slattery Joins SCR Dairy as Integration Manager

MADISON, Wis. (July 9, 2014)—SCR Dairy announced today the addition of Jerry Slattery of Middleton, Wisconsin, to its U.S. team.

In his new role Jerry will serve as Integration Manager, helping dairy producers to implement SCR rumination and heat detection technology and integrate it with milking intelligence.

"Jerry's broad experience in electronics, technology and equipment makes him an excellent addition to SCR Dairy," says Tom Breunig, General Manager at SCR Dairy. "We're excited for him to join our team and share his unique expertise to help our customers combine new health and rumination information with their milking systems."

Prior to joining SCR Dairy Jerry amassed a wide range of dairy industry experience including extensive, hands-on experience in electronics, technology and equipment.

His background includes managing a global training team, developing curriculum and incorporating innovative technology into training programs. He most recently worked for a milking equipment company, serving as a trainer for dealers and distribution networks on milk quality, fundamental principles of the milking process, procedures and cow health.

"Jerry's knowledge and extensive background will benefit dairy owners and managers as they seek to improve the profitability and productivity of their operations," Breunig adds. "SCR users will have the opportunity to more seamlessly manage their current operation."

Jerry earned an associate's degree from Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
