A reader is attached to the cluster provides immediate animal ID and identification confirmation at cluster attachment. At that point vacuum is activated without need for further action by the operator.
Pushbutton operation simplifies milking pit work processes and requires minimal maintenance.
The application of SCR™'s proprietary pulsation and milk yield measurement technologies enables controlled milk flow rate pulsation, minimal vacuum fluctuations, milk flow drop activated cluster removal and accurate milk yield measurement for reduced milking time and increased animal welfare.
A small number of moving parts and unique design reduce maintenance to a minimum and provide a considerable and proven reduction in detergent and hot water use.
The management system controls the milking process in real-time and collects the data into a database. An optional terminal at the pit enables immediate animal ID and speedy event entry- no typing is needed, minimizing data entry mistakes.
Group events are easily entered into the system by simply scanning the animal with a portable handheld reader for identification, and scanning one of several tags specially programmed to indicate status (eg. One tag designated as 'pregnant' indication and a second tag indicating 'not pregnant'). Thus with three touches of the reader an identified animal's status in entered into the system.
